Hall Browns Accountants is proud to have supported a range of charities across FY26 that make meaningful contributions in their respective communities. Whether it be through donations, fundraising initiatives or ongoing involvement, we believe it is important to support vital services to those in need.
This year we supported the MND and Me Foundation, the Enriching Lives Foundation and The Lady Musgrave Trust. Each organisation plays an important role in creating positive change, and we are grateful for the opportunity to contribute to the valuable work they continue to do.

The MND and Me Foundation is a Queensland-based charity dedicated to supporting people living with Motor Neurone Disease, as well as their families and carers. Its mission is centred on “To Care and To Cure”, providing practical support while also contributing to research aimed at finding effective treatments and, ultimately, a cure.
The Foundation provides support services, programs, equipment and financial grants to help Queenslanders living with MND access the assistance they need, when they need it and at no cost. This includes support coordination, equipment, communication devices, information sessions, workshops and support groups across Queensland.
Our support for the MND and Me Foundation in FY26 included taking part in the Valley Velo ride, where members of our team rode more than 88 kilometres along the Brisbane Valley Rail Trail to help raise awareness and support for people living with Motor Neurone Disease. It was a meaningful opportunity to contribute to the Foundation’s important work while coming together as a team for a cause that makes a real difference in the community.

Enriching Lives Foundation
The Enriching Lives Foundation is a Gold Coast-based not-for-profit organisation focused on supporting young people in need by helping fund their education journey. The Foundation’s purpose is to increase the engagement of young people with education by assisting with the resources and opportunities they need to continue learning and reach their potential.
Through its programs, the Foundation helps students and families facing financial challenges by providing support that can make education more accessible. Its work is centred on creating lasting impact within local communities and helping young people access opportunities that may otherwise be out of reach.
In FY26, we were proud to support the Enriching Lives Foundation through supporting a student and also a great night at their gala event, which raises awareness and support for young people facing barriers to education. The evening was a meaningful opportunity to come together with the broader community and contribute to the Foundation’s work in helping young people access the resources, support and opportunities they need to thrive.

Lady Musgrave Trust
The Lady Musgrave Trust supports young women and their children who are experiencing, or are at risk of, homelessness across Queensland. Its work focuses on providing safe and stable housing, wraparound support and practical assistance to help women build independence and move towards long-term safety and stability.
Through its supported housing model, The Lady Musgrave Trust provides more than a roof over someone’s head. It helps women and children access education, employment pathways, support services and the life skills needed to maintain secure housing.
In FY26, we were proud to support The Lady Musgrave Trust through the Pink Tie Gala event, which raised awareness and funds for young women and children experiencing, or at risk of, homelessness. The evening was a meaningful opportunity to come together with the broader community and contribute to the Trust’s important work in providing safe housing, practical support and pathways towards long-term stability.

The Role of Business in Giving Back
Supporting charities is an important way for businesses to give back to the communities in which they operate. While financial contributions and fundraising initiatives can provide much-needed assistance to charitable organisations, the impact extends beyond the donation itself. Business support can help raise awareness, encourage broader community involvement and contribute to long-term positive change.
For businesses, supporting charities also reflects a commitment to values beyond commercial outcomes. It demonstrates care, responsibility and a willingness to use available resources, networks and influence to support causes that matter. Whether through fundraising events, workplace initiatives, sponsorships or volunteering, businesses can make a meaningful contribution to organisations that provide vital services to individuals, families and communities.
Charitable involvement can also strengthen workplace culture by bringing teams together around a shared purpose. It creates opportunities for employees to connect, participate and contribute to something larger than their day-to-day work. By supporting charities throughout FY26, we are proud to play a part in helping create positive outcomes for the community and to stand behind organisations making a real difference.
